August open garden has a focus of: Stuff UnEarthed In Ellie's Garden Which Is Likely To Be A Brugmansia. These are common to so rare I think I have one of two plants in the US. But we will also have some cheapies and "pretty flowers" so don't stress if you just got $5...) Also at the sale:

1 Ficus dammaropsis - edible leaves and verrrry prehistoric looking $300 very rare

Monstera deliciosa 'borsigiana' varegated - $80 rare

Brugmansias - rare and not rare from $7
Fuchsia boliviana (Bolivian fuchsia)- either seed or plants available
Burpee seeds packed for 2005-2006 flowers & veggies (WAY below retail) 10/$1 Ice cream Banana tree in 1 gallon $10
Plumeria pudica - a great year-round bloomer and easy enough not to kill even if you suck at plants. 4' trunk young tree. Haas Avocado trees in tall 5 gallons. Flowers removed last year to strengthen tree growth - should bear next season 3' tall or over
Cherimoya tree in bloom - the self-fruitful cultivar called 'Pierce'- graphed for consistent fruit. $40 Silk Floss Tree - this is a really beautiful tree with orchid-like flowers and very interesting bark. Grows in clay, is drought tolerant and good to go down to 25F at maturity (protect younger trees though). Tree is 3-4' tall in a 5 gallon can $25
Brazillian Cherry (A tropical cherry that does not need a frost to set fruit. Similar flavour to a regular cherry. Drought tolerant. Pretty weeping-willow-looking leaves. price TBD Rare trees such as 'Curry Leaf' $50 (a key ingredient in authentic East Indian cooking that is largely unavailable in the USA), white bolivian fuchsia $15, and Mexican Sunflower Tree (aka: Mexican Marigold Tree) (IMAGES)
Fresh chicken and duck eggs - limited supply - arrive early limit of 6 per person
